This policy explains what information Xiangqi vs AI handles when you use the site, why it is needed, and what you can control. Apart from technical information required to deliver the page, we do not create user accounts, matchmaking profiles, or player-rating profiles.

Games and local storage

The site stores information needed for the current game in your browser, including your chosen side, difficulty, move record, clocks, and replay snapshots. This may let you resume after refreshing or returning later. You do not need to sign in, and these game details are not uploaded to create rankings, matchmaking records, or user profiles.

Your browser and device control this storage. Clearing site data or browsing history, using a private window, or opening the site on another device may remove a saved game. Local storage is not a cloud-backed game archive.

Servers and third-party services

Hosting and security systems may process basic technical records needed to transmit and protect the page, such as request time and network information supplied by your browser. These records support site operation, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention; they are not used to label your playing style or interests.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7DB49SX4RE) for aggregate traffic such as pages viewed, approximate region, device type, browser, and referral source. It is not a replay of your moves, not tied to board state, and not tied to an account (we do not have accounts). You can play with analytics blocked.

Advertising is not enabled on this site. If another third-party service is added later, this page will describe the service, its purpose, and available controls before it becomes part of this policy.

Children's privacy

The site has no account registration and does not intentionally request identity documents, payment information, or personal contact details from players. If you believe a feature has collected information unexpectedly, contact us so we can investigate.
