Terms of Use

Xiangqi vs AI is a free browser-based Chinese chess tool for personal play and learning. By using it, you understand its limits: it can play moves, provide hints, and preserve a local game record, but it is not a tournament arbiter, professional coach, or official competition system.

Engine strength, hints, and results

Difficulty settings, move hints, position evaluations, and replay information come from the program's current calculations. They may miss variations or disagree with a player or another engine. Use them for practice and review, not as an official ruling, training conclusion, or promise of results. Formal events remain subject to their own rules and arbiters.

Acceptable use

You may browse the site, play games, review positions, copy records generated by your own games, and share links with other people. If you quote site copy or reuse a screenshot, do not remove its source and present it as your own product or original material.

Prohibited use

Do not attack or scan the service, bypass access restrictions, disrupt availability, or generate abusive automated traffic. Do not use the site for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harassing activity. If you discover a security issue or serious fault, report it instead of exploiting it in a way that affects other visitors.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the board, local saves, and supporting pages available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service, identical behavior on every device, or permanent retention of a local session. Features, engine settings, content, and these terms may change for maintenance, security, or product reasons.
